Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Grant Information

Purpose: Provide grants to K-12 teachers and other school level professional staff members to encourage STEM focused projects and enhance student learning in the classroom. STEM is not just a collection of subjects, but an interdisciplinary approach.  It’s about interconnecting these fields to solve real-world problems rather than studying them in isolation.

Eligibility: The grants are awarded on a competitive basis and any YCSD teacher or group may apply.

Eligible Proposals: Grant proposals must present a way of integrating the crucial areas of STEM into a holistic approach to learning and problem-solving and should support the YCSD strategic plan.

Funds: Teachers may apply for up to $1,000. The number of awards will depend on funds available from The York Foundation for Public Education, Inc.
